"I don't know about you, but I make my mashed potatoes the old fashioned way - with a masher and a lot of elbow grease, not to mention the time it takes to peel those potatoes - ugh! Now I have a better way to make the creamiest mashed potatoes with this potato ricer by Priority Chef. Why a potato ricer you ask? Using a potato ricer yields a much finer potato, thus resulting in a creamier mash. When you mash potatoes using a traditional masher or a fork, starch is released with each mash, which usually results in mashed potatoes that have the texture of wallpaper paste - ain't nobody got time for THAT!!! This potato ricer is easy to use and easy to clean by hand. It's also dishwasher safe which is a great time saver. I hardly have space to store this in my kitchen as it is, but I do think it is well worth my time to find a place for it."

"Thanks to the Priority Chef company for creating a wonderful knife sharpener, that makes every knife sharp enough as if you just bought them! I love the Priority Chef Knife Sharpener, works on all my knives from the bread knife to the steak knives. The shape of the handle is actually comfortable for holding in the hand, while sharpening. It lays perfectly still and sturdy on the table, as you hold the handle and slide the knives through each stage. I love how easy it is to use, it really does keep your old knives useful for years to come! You actually can be saving so much more money just having a Priority Chef Sharpener, than going out to buy new knives every year or few years. For me the Priority Chef Knife Sharpener, has been helpful with my meat knives. I usually love to cook up tons of meat dishes and it's no fun to have a dull blade, making the meat look horrible and even veggies. "I figured the best way to determine the effectiveness of this sharpener was to do a blind test; so I took a big chance and used it to sharpen and hone my wife's kitchen knives without telling her. I figured if it did a decent job, she would make some sort of comment (e.g. "Did you by any chance sharpen my kitchen knives?"). About 2.5 weeks went by with no hint that she noticed anything different, so I figured I had another Edge of Glory fiasco on my hands. Then one weekend I was carrying a paring knife out to the BBQ, and that's when all was revealed. "Why are you carrying that around with you like that [cupped in my hand while picking up a tray of meat & some BBQ tools]? Be careful, you have these knives so dang sharp now." BINGO! We have a winner. That was the type of response I was looking for; and I could notice a big difference myself as I was using the paring knife out by the BBQ (mostly to open food packaging rather than slice/peel food). So 2.5 weeks after sharpening they were still "so dang sharp". [Can knife blades ever be TOO sharp?] So last night I rehoned the knives (instructions say to do it every week, though that seems overkill to me) so that I could scrutinize the edges under a high-lumen tactical light. Yeah, they look pretty sharp. Nice clean edge. No burrs or imperfections. I fought back the urge to try shaving with them. :-)"
